It all began when a cat wandered into the Wellcee office.

Back in September, the Wellcee office rescued a stray calico cat! The kitty settled down in the Wellcee office and was named Cee-cee! From that moment on, Cee-cee has been enjoying her stay in the office.

But well in exchange for all the kitty food, it’s time for Cee-cee to clock in for work!

What's the deal with Wellcee?

We're the unconventional rental platform with a spirited twist!

When the once-wandering Cee-cee showed up on the office terrace, adhering to the unspoken rule of "everything's more interesting than work during office hours," colleagues engaged enthusiastically.

The little cat, looking like it knew its way around began coming to our office window regularly for food over the next few weeks. We reached out with a handful of kitty treats along with friendly pats on its furry head.

The peaceful days kept rolling until three tiny furballs made their entrance. It turns out that this young kitty is now a proud mom. This calico hot mama has even developed mastitis, a condition we didn't notice until a coin-sized ulcer appeared on her belly.

Upon the doctor's diagnosis, it was recommended to promptly clean and stitch up the wound. Along with subsequent medications, colleagues chipped in about 5000 yuan out of their pockets for the treatment of Cee-cee, and brought her home for a month of recuperation.

During daily dressing changes and medication, Cee-cee cooperated remarkably well, causing no trouble at all for the colleagues.

The doctor mentioned that if medical attention isn't provided promptly, the cat would first develop a fever, followed by maggot infestation in the wound. The average lifespan of a domestic cat is 12 to 14 years, while stray cats only live an average of 3 to 5 years.

Dirty water sources, speeding cars, and cruel humans are the main threats to the lives of stray animals. The little cat bared its belly in the sunlight, hoping that we can treat this tender trust with kindness.

All proceeds from the Wellcee series of travel mugs,

 will be used for future stray cat rescues.
